Parent Coaching
Parents are BUSY!
When you think of everything already on your plate, adding speech therapy 1-2 times a week may not be feasible at this time. It is not only an added expense to your weekly budget, but it is another appointment added to your family’s already hectic schedule. Parent coaching is Loud Mouth’s solution to providing support for busy families.
We are here to assist you in supporting and facilitating speech and language development for your little one by providing parents with strategies, techniques, tools, and activities to incorporate into your everyday routines.

What does parent coaching look like?
Parent Coaching involves customized sessions with a Loud Mouth therapist and the parent through a secure
teletherapy platform.
You will be provided
with strategies and tools to increase your child’s speech and language by creating
opportunities within your regular day to day activities.
Our appointments are dependent on your time and child’s needs. Coaching can be once a week, once a month,
or whatever best works for
your family.
With Parent Coaching, you will
be given the training to increase
your child’s utterances, learn new
vocabulary, improve communication (verbal, gestures, etc.), develop play skills, improve comprehension.
What’s the difference between Parent Coaching and Speech Therapy?
Speech Therapy is one on one individualized sessions with your child and their therapist to treat a disorder, deficit, or delay.

Therapy sessions are typically 1-2 times a week.

Therapy continues until all goals have been met or until maximum potential has been achieved.

Parents are provided with feedback, updates, and homework for carryover at home in the last 5 minutes of the session.
Parent Coaching educates parents by providing strategies, tools, and activities to help improve your child’s speech and language development.

Parent Coaching sessions range in frequency depending on your schedule and success with your child’s speech and language.

Parent Coaching can be used for any child, not just those with a disorder, deficit, or delay.
Your Loud Mouth therapist will consult with you about your child’s progress and adjust the approach if needed.
